ISM is seeking a Field Service Engineer to establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with our products, support and service. Will be expected to respond to customer inquiries and maintain our excellent customer service reputation by complying with all regulatory requirements and all aspects of ISM quality system.
Aspects of the position include:
• Install and service ISM products at customer locations. Perform acceptance tests and provide basic end user training
• Provide audio and video assistance in the operating room
• Coordinate the pre-installation site planning with Hospital IT and Bio-Med departments
• Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on time, provide expeditious on-site response and minimize equipment downtime
• Provide feedback concerning product questions, workflow issues, performance anomalies encountered in the field, and make recommendations for service improvements
• Ability to read and understand video, audio and control flow diagrams for the purpose of system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist the Technical Support Technician with escalated support calls providing troubleshooting skills
• Provide support at conventions, trade shows and customer trials
Requirements:
• AS/BS in computer science, electronics or related technical discipline is required.
• Working knowledge of networking, hospital information systems, and DICOM or PACS systems desirable.
• Self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision and be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities and scheduling work activities.
• Ability to resolve problems, think analytically and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environments.
• Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license, carry adequate auto insurance and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is essential to this position.
• Strong work ethic, high energy, ”do what it takes to get the job done” attitude along with good organizational and communications skills are essential to be successful here.

Technician - Clinical Engineering
The selected candidate will work primarily with the medical technology and equipment used to diagnose and treat our patients. Duties include installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of medical devices, such as patient monitors, electrosurgical units and lasers.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree or certificate in digital electronics, or hands-on biomedical experience
Medical Terminology
1-2 years experience
